India's pride -TheChandrayaan 3 -----reaches its final stage

India's ambitious third Moon mission, Chandrayaan-3, marked a significant milestone as it successfully completed its fifth and final lunar-bound maneuver on Wednesday. Over the course of three weeks since its launch on July 14, ISRO executed a series of maneuvers, progressively extending Chandrayaan-3's orbits away from Earth.

With the recent maneuver, Chandrayaan-3 has completed its lunar-bound maneuvers and is now preparing for the detachment of its propulsion module and lander module. The precise firing conducted for a brief duration has positioned Chandrayaan-3 into a targeted orbit of 153 km x 163 km, marking the successful completion of lunar-bound maneuvers. ISRO tweeted that it's now time for preparations as the Impetus Module and Lander Module gear up for their respective journeys.

The separation of the lander module from the propulsion module is scheduled for August 17, according to ISRO.

Following its launch on July 14, Chandrayaan-3 entered lunar orbit on August 5. Subsequently, three consecutive circle reduction maneuvers were carried out on August 6, 9, and 14 to bring the spacecraft closer to the Moon.

As the mission progresses, ISRO continues to execute a sequence of maneuvers to gradually reduce Chandrayaan-3's orbit and align it over the lunar poles.

Chandrayaan-3 is on track to achieve a soft landing in the south polar region of the Moon on August 23.
